My Story: How I Built a Design Business in a Foreign Country and Created a System That Works
I have always loved decorating my home, doing renovations, and experimenting with space. 🏠 At one point, when I was moving to a new apartment, I worked with an interior designer as a client—and I really enjoyed the process. But at that time, I never thought it would become my profession.
In 2012, I closed my business and started searching for a new career that would truly inspire me. I decided to try interior design and enrolled in a design school.
After finishing my studies, I met Olena and we founded Enjoy Design Studio as partners in Kyiv. We worked actively for three years. We created exciting projects, including private schools, educational spaces, offices, beauty salons, cafés, and residential apartments. But with each new project, I felt more and more overwhelmed. I had to do everything at once—manage clients, supervise construction, coordinate projects, and constantly respond to calls. It was difficult to keep everything under control, and we had to start delegating some tasks. However, we still lacked a clear system.
